Smile Publications Ltd is a publishing company located in Hatfield Peverel. We are currently seeking an Office Administrator to join our team.

Office Hours : 9am-4.30pm Mon-Thurs and 9am-4pm on Friday (32hrs per week)

Salary : £15,500-£21,000 depending on experience

Job Description:

The Office Administrator will support our team to help oversee the daily operations of the office. This position will assist the Sales Manager and sales staff with administrative duties and support the daily operations of the office; processing sales orders, data entry, database maintenance, and compiling reports for all departments including management. A large part of the role will include liaising with our design team and contacting customers for artwork and approvals. This role is a varied and interesting one as you will work closely with all departments within the company.

Excellent telephone communication skills is a must as the role will involve assisting our sales teams in acquiring artwork from customers.

Attention to detail is essential in this role as you will be required to proofread artwork before you email it to the customer for approval.

Qualifications:

Must have excellent oral and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate clearly with staff and customers at all levels from telephone communication to written communication. Should be able to interact with staff and customers in a professional manner.

Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general computer skills. We have our own bespoke company database (training will be given).

Must be proficient in using email and be able to transcribe accurately.

Must have excellent organizational skills and be able to multitask effectively. Time management skills and the ability to prioritise workload effectively.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: £15,500.00-£21,000.00 per year
